Just all of my February goals. Now I'm going to pick them back up at a different point in the year but I was offered an amazing opportunity that I can't pass up. A little background to understand why I'm dropping everything for now...
Tam is one of the amazing ladies I've met through doing NaNo and she's turned into one of my greatest friends. Seriously adore that girl. She is fun, hysterical, & amazingly talented. Late this March her novel, From These Ashes, is coming out. Like for reals. She's got a publishing company and everything. To celebrate this she's having a private book release party and she asked me to be her event coordinator. I am so stoked!
Once upon a time I actually co-owned an event design firm so this is right up my alley. I've been researching and planning ever since Tam asked and we've worked out a bunch of details already. So for the rest of this month I'll be working on goals associated with her book release party. The only goal I set at the beginning of this month that I'm keeping is the scarf for Jenna cause it will give me something to do when I need to just brainstorm or a small break.
In order for me to be better prepared to help plan the party Tam let me read a proof-copy of From These Ashes...and no joke it is one of my new favorites. I am not just saying that. I swear. I laughed, I cried, I did both at the same time. I cannot wait till March when I can buy my own copy to read over and over again!
