Yesterday I completed the second pair of legwarmers for my sister. They look perfectly fine and work just like they're supposed to...but I'm not a fan. The first pair I made were just one color and so I had decided to do a fun pair that changed colors. I figured stripes would be cool and changing each row would look good. Yes to the stripes, no to the each row thing. I pushed through to complete them so I could meet my goal and make sure I wasn't judging them too harshly. Yeah, I wasn't.
Instead of tying them off at the end and tucking in all the loose yarn I left it undone. I'm not too upset with myself. Actually, I'm not upset at all. These two pairs of legwarmers were the first ones I've ever even attempted to make so I'm all good with trial and error.
I took today off from actual work to give my wrists and fingers a break but I did map out how to redo the legwarmers. I'm glad that I pushed through to finish them last night because the pattern I made up will make the color change a little more staggered/random. Think they're gonna be awesome!
I also added a Goal page on here to keep track of the year. It's gonna be a good jumping off point but I'm totally prepared to change things up if I need to.
1) Redo 1 pair of legwarmers
2) Short Stories
3) 2 family history interviews
Wish me luck!
